Obituary of Jeffery Lee Kesner

Jeffery "Doc" Kesner, 54, of Kingwood, WV, died Friday, April 1, 2016, at his home. The son of Juanita May Kesner Gillispie of Arthurdale, WV and the late James Norman Kesner, he was born September 1, 1961, in San Jose, CA. Doc moved to West Virginia at the age of 13. In 1987, he began his career as a truck driver and especially enjoyed moving oversized loads. He was a volunteer for Masontown VFD and an EMT for several ambulance services. Doc also enjoyed singing and doing woodworking. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his love of his life and best friend, Christina Elizabeth Hall Kesner, whom he met in 1998 and married the following year; three sons: Timothy John Kesner and his wife, Brandi Leann, of Clarksburg, WV, Jacob William and Dakota James Kesner at home; two daughters and their companions, Kati Nicole Kesner and Robert Presnell, and Chaelyn Hope Kesner and Dustin Bradds, both of Liberty, NC; three grandchildren, Liam, Leilani and Myloh Presnell; a brother, Jearald Kesner, of Arthurdale, WV; and two sisters, Jeanette Moran and her husband, Kenneth, of Arthurdale, and Jamie Lee Kesner of Morgantown. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Roy William Hall and a brother-in-law, Joseph "JD" Hall. Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 11 A.M. until the 1:00 P.M. service in the funeral home, with Pastor Don Augustine officiating.
