Obituary of Doris Jean Everly

DORIS JEAN EVERLY, 90, of Bruceton Mills, WV, died Friday, January 13, 2017, at The Madison, Morgantown, WV. The daughter of the late Charles H. and Laura M. Glover Thomas, she was born August 12, 1926, in Bruceton Mills (Salem community). She was a member of the Sugar Valley United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. Jean is survived by a son, Adrian Everly, of Bruceton Mills; a daughter, Donna Kay Campbell of Morgantown; four grandchildren: Glen Campbell and wife, Jeanetta, of Morgantown, Harry Everly of Bruceton Mills, Julie Campbell of Morgantown, and C.J. Ebanks of Ohio; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Woody" Everly; 12 brothers and sisters; and a son-in-law, David Campbell. Friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills on Monday from 4-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 17, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral home with Pastor Donnie Savage officiating. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mon General Hospital and the Madison for their exceptional care.
