William “Jake” Graham, 73, passed away Tuesday May 20, 2025, at his home in Mt. Nebo. Jake was born on August 20, 1951, at the Morgantown Hospital. A son of the late Elizabeth “June” (Elliott) & Max Elliott Graham. He was a graduate of Kingwood High School. Jake grew up in the town of Albright with his family and many siblings. He served in the army soon after High School from 1971 – 1974. Spent time in Baltimore, MD doing other odd jobs early in his life. He worked many years in the woods cutting and skidding timber with family. In 1992 he married his wife Linda (Radabaugh) Graham, and they were together for 35 years, having two sons Blaine Elliot Graham and Cameron Guy Graham. Since 1992 he has resided in Mt. Nebo where he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family, taking many pointers from his late Father-in-law Guy Radabaugh. Cheered on his Mountaineers, Steelers and Pirates. His love for puzzles, jeopardy, words for friends and just reading was more than strong. Family gatherings were always a big part of his life from all the holidays to simple fires, throwing horseshoes, corn hole and roasting hot dogs. Jake is survived by his wife Linda Graham and two sons Blaine Elliot Graham and Cameron Guy Graham. Also, another love of his life Atlas, his 2-year-old grandson, which gave him the strength to hang on and see him grow. Along with his sister and brothers. Rona Poling & Husband Leo of Grafton, WV; Scott Graham of South Carolina, Max Graham and wife Lisa of Georgie, Monte Graham and wife Amy of Fairmont, WV. His sister-in-law Penny Graham of Coallick. And his sister & brother-in-law Rose (Radabaugh)& David Riggs of Montrose, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents Max & June Graham, brothers Rick, Anthony, and Brad Graham. Jake also was a big supporter of the Cress Family Cemetery and worked many years alongside others to form the Association and was proud too the accomplishments he was a part of. Jake will be laid to rest at the Cress Family Cemetery. At this time, a date has not been set but there will be a grave side memorial and then a simple cook out at the “Radabaugh” residence where many families and friends have spent time at over the years with Jake to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and just a weekend gathering. This will be a celebration of “Jake” a time to remember. carl@spearfuneralhome.net
