Obituary of Opal Herring Beeghly

Opal Herring Beeghly, 97, of Bruceton Mills, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Born on November 25, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Rozena and Glenn Herring. Opal was a member of Salem Church of the Brethren and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Nelson of Richmond, Virginia; her son, William Beeghly of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Beeghly, and her brother, James Herring.
At Opal’s request, there will be a private burial at Shady Grove Cemetery.
