Obituary for Harold C. Lepro
Harold C. Lepro, 88, passed away at his home in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia on September 30, 2025. He was born on March 4, 1937 in Midway, Pennsylvania, the eldest son of L. Harold and Dorothy Lepro.
Harold graduated from Monongahela High School in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked at West Penn Power for more than 41 years retiring in 1999. Harold was an avid hunter, collected farm tractors, and loved steam engines since his boyhood. He also enjoyed caring for his property, visiting family, and eating desserts. Harold would help anyone with a question in math or science.
Harold is survived by his wife of 66 years Patricia (Barton), his children William (Laurie) Lepro and Sheryl (William) Ramsey, his grandchildren Katie (Colby) Ware, Kimberlyn Ramsey, Holly Lepro and James Lepro, his great grandson Jackson Ware, and his brothers Myron (Angela) and Larry. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place on November 1, 2025, at the Shady Grove Covenant Brethren Church in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia beginning at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Michael Bernard officiating. A luncheon will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shady Grove Covenant Brethren Church, in care of Brenda Seese, 706 Seese Road, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia 26525.
