Obituary of Orpha Elizabeth Fike-Wilson
Orpha E. Fike Wilson,
91, of Bruceton Mills, WV, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019, at her daughter’s home with her family by her side.
The daughter of the late Charles and Florence Knox Boyer, she was born December 4, 1927, in New Salem, PA.
Orpha was Apostolic by faith and retired after working in a nursing home and doing house cleaning. She truly loved her grandchildren and her cats and dogs.
She is survived by two daughters: Bonnie Maust and spouse, Ralph (Bill), of Bruceton Mills and Wanda Tissue of Addison, PA; a son and his spouse, Charles (Sam) and Linda Burnworth, of Tampa, FL; three sisters: Ida Mae Fike of Bruceton, Emma Arnold of Fairchance, PA, and Shirley Allamon of Fairchance; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior D. Fike; a son, Wayne Fike; sisters, Virginia Silbaugh and Florence Edwards; and four brothers: David, William, George and Charles Edward Boyer.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Tuesday, August 6, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral chapel with Pastor Dean Hay officiating.
Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.
