Obituary of Susie Jane Tichnell

Susie Jane Detrick Tichnell, 77 of Bruceton Mills (Salem Community), WV, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the Mon Health-Preston Memorial Hospital, Kingwood, WV. The daughter of the late Glen G. and Lillie Teets Dennis, she was born April 18, 1946, in Brandonville, WV. Susie was a homemaker for most of her life. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a cousin and his wife, Eddie and Lori Maust, Jr. of Bruceton Mills and Nancy Savage, whom she called "Sis", of Bruceton Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Arnold Tichnell and Richard Detrick, a sister Rosetta Marie Dennis and her fur babies, Spanky Jo and Daisy Mae. Family and friends may call Carl R. Spear Funeral home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. service with Pastors Linda Masters and Joe Lamm officiating.
