Warren Ray McGrew, Jr.
Warren Ray McGrew Jr., age 84, of Spring, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was born September 3, 1933 in Brandonville, West Virginia to Warren Ray and Althea McGrew. Ray was a member and deacon of Lincolnwood Baptist Church. He served his country in the Army Military Police, a member of the local Union 213, Houston, TX and was a Master Trim Carpenter.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Lee Whitehair; and a grandson, John David McGrew.
He leaves behind a loving wife of 32 years; Katherine Corley McGrew, five sons; Warren Ray McGrew of Woodstock, Georgia, Norman McGrew of Spring, Texas, Glenn (Jennifer) McGrew of Nashville, Tennessee, Nathan (Christine) McGrew of Acworth, Georgia, Neil (Angelyn) McGrew of Bruceton Mills, WV, and one daughter; Barbara McGrew of Bruceton Mills, WV; and 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Ray will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service at Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, with Pastor Mike Argabrite officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Bruceton Mills (Pisgah), WV.
