Obituary of Dortha Lou Wilhelm

Dortha Lou (Dottie) Wilhelm, 75, of Albright (Valley Point Community), WV, passed on to be with the Lord, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Rose Haven, MD. The daughter of the late Chester and Bessie Richards Walls, she was born August 19, 1940, in Albright. Dottie was a member of the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church in Valley Point, Bruceton High School Class of 1958, and was a retired Real Estate Leasing Agent/Manager. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Kimberly J. and John (Jack) Wilkinson of Charleston, WV; two sons: Robert H. Wilhelm, Jr. and wife, Kimberly, of Rose Haven, MD, and Douglas Alan Wilhelm and Brenda Yerby of Albright; a granddaughter, Amanda Marie Montini and spouse, Tony; great-grandchildren: Sofia Marlene, Leo Wilhelm and Anthony (Sonny) Santino; a brother, Billy Walls, of Valley Point; a sister and her husband, Carolyn and Ron Gillis, of Morgantown, WV; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Wilhelm, Sr., on June 23, 2012; four brothers: Donald, Johnny, Charles and Glen Walls; and a sister, Betty Holbert. Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m., and Thursday, June 16, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service with Pastor Greg Moran and Pastor Doug Strother officiating.
