Donald E. Miller,

86, of Valley Point, WV, died Friday, June 28, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
The son of the late T. E. Miller and Alga Hartman Miller, Donnie was born on April 27, 1933, in Crab Orchard Community, WV, on Coal Lick Road.
A U.S. Army Veteran, Donnie was known as the "Grader Man" as he enjoyed running a grader for the Department of Highways and for Patriot Coal.  He took great pride in pulling ditches and making roadways smooth.
Donnie started making a roadway to Heaven over 57 years ago when he accepted Christ.  He was an active member of the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church where he faithfully attended for 57 years.  He served as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday school teacher, and was on several boards associated with the church.  He loved his church and his church family and will be missed by all who knew him.  He finished the last leg of his earthly journey and would be very pleased to have everyone follow him to his heavenly journey.
Donnie is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jeanie Miller, whom he married on October 25, 1953; two sons and their spouses, T.R. and Marcia Miller and Jeff and Wanda Miller; two granddaughters and their spouses, Missy and Major Upton and Misty and Jeremy Davis; two grandsons, T.J. Miller and Justin Miller and his spouse, Allison; two great-granddaughters, Sadie Upton and Landry Davis; and three great-grandsons, Gus and Loudin Miller and Carter Davis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Susi Miller, and a grandson, Kyle Miller.
Friends may call at the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church in Valley Point, WV, on Sunday, June 30, from 2:00-8:00 p.m., and on Monday, July 1, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at the Church, with Pastors T.R. Miller and Mark Harris officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Valley Point.
