Samuel Dailey Liston,

     59, of Brandonville Pike, Terra Alta, WV, died Thursday, July 4, 2019, at Pine Ridge Nursing Home, Kingwood, WV.
     The son of Helen Edith Liston of Terra Alta and the late John A. Liston, Sr., he was born May 21, 1960, in Morgantown, WV.
     Sam attended the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Cuzzart, WV.  He owned Sam's Auto and enjoyed mechanic work, hunting, camping and listening to Gospel music.
     In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Lynn Liston of Terra Alta; two sisters, Juanita and her husband, Ronald Kelly and Joann Liston of Terra Alta; a special friend, Jeff Foy of Terra Alta;  three nephews and their spouses: Jason and Terri, Justin and Corey and Chris and Catie Kelly; a great niece, Khloe; and four great nephews: Andrew, Cooper, Jackson and Walker. 
     In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, John A. Liston, Jr.
     Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Monday, July 8, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service in the funeral home, with Rev. Larry A. Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Valley Point.
