Obituary of Rose Mary Kay Readd

Rose Mary Readd, 

     73 of Valley Point, WV, went home to be with her Savior on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family.
     She was a devoted Proverbs 31 wife to Robert (Butch) for 53 years. The two of them raised three children, Michaela (Buffy) Phillips, married to Kevin; Melissia (Missy) Richman, married to Matt; and Robert Readd Jr. (R.L.), married to Amanda.
     She had 11 grandchildren, Melonie Larew and husband Nathan; Kevin (Casey) Phillips and wife Kimme; Katlyn Crawford, Jonothan Readd, Aaron Readd, Victoria Childs, Madeline Richman, Leah Readd, Collin Richman, Alice Readd, and Riley Readd, as well as three great-grandchildren, Hayden Phillips, Noah Larew, and Noah Readd.
     She was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her parents Junior Miller and Freida Uphold Miller, her nephew Michael Miller, step-mother Mary Miller, her brother Ronald Miller, brother Bennett Miller, sister Peggy Reckart, and her brother-in-law Franklin Reckart, as well as mother-in-law Rosalee Lewis, father-in-law Robert Lewis, and her brother-in-law Ralph Thorn.
     As we mourn our loss, we are assured that Friday morning Jesus opened his arms and said, "Welcome home my good and faithful servant."
     Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Sunday, from 2-8 p.m., and Monday, November 4, 2019, from 12 noon until the 1:00 p.m. service in the funeral chapel with her son-in-law, Rev. Kevin Phillips and Rev. Tim Haney officiating.
     To honor Rose Mary's wishes, she will be cremated following her funeral service.
