KENNETH “Kenny” RYAN, 75, of Bruceton Mills (Brandonville community), WV, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. The son of the late Herbert E. and Olive J. Bankhead Ryan, he was born March 10, 1945, in Smithfield, PA. Kenneth graduated from Bruceton High School, was a member of The Glade Farms Community Church, and was a retired home builder and Preston County School Bus Driver. He was a very faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and family member. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vivian Leah Shafer Ryan; five daughters: Nancy Lilly and her husband, Jon, Patti Miller and her husband, Tim, Cindy Nolan, and Katie Conley of Bruceton Mills and Becky DesJardins and her husband, Zach, of Minot, ND; grandchildren: Mary Beth and Casey Waigand, Megan and Graham Dearien, Thomas Lilly, Simon Miller, Sgt, Bryce Nolan, Brennan Nolan, Abby Nolan, Alex Conley, Paxton Conley, Analise Ryan Sypolt, and Drake DesJardins; great-grandsons: Cass, Silas and Max; a sister and her husband, Nellie and Dale Kelley; many nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law: Corel Shafer and Hannah Reese and her husband, William. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Teddi Everly; brothers-in-law, Edgar Emerson and Bobby Everly; father-in-law, Herbert Shafer; and mother-in-law, Vertrude Shafer. A private visitation and graveside service will be held Friday, May 29, 2020, with Pastor Charles Teets officiating at the Shady Grove Cemetery, in Bruceton Mills. Carl R.
