Please share a memory of Ralph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ralph Edward Harsh, 82, of Albright (Valley Point community), WV, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Mon Health Medical Center (Monongalia General Hospital), Morgantown, WV. The son of the late Freeman L. and Viola L. Snyder Harsh, he was born November 13, 1938, in Eglon, WV. For 15 years, Ralph was a supervisor at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Niagara Falls, NY. Later, he was a small business owner/operator at Discovery Construction Co. in Preston County and a farmer. Ralph was a simple man with a hard work ethic, a big heart, and a lot of jokes. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and helping others. It didn't matter where he went, he never met a stranger. Most of all, he cherished Ann, his wife of 63 years, and his family. He was very proud of each one, and there was nothing he wouldn't do for any of them. He will be sorely missed by so many. He is survived by his wife, Annabelle Reckart Harsh; two sons and their spouses, Kenneth G. and Millicent Harsh and Dennis W. and Sharon Harsh of Bruceton Mills, WV; two daughters and their spouses, Peggy S. and David Snyder of Bruceton Mills and Mary L. and Todd Lenhart of Albright; 7 grandchildren: Chris Harsh and wife, Tara, Amanda Denkenberger and spouse, Bobby, Dwight Snyder and wife, Kim, Kari Pratt and spouse, Josh, Cody Harsh, Daniel Harsh and Ashley Lenhart; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wilda Blamble and a brother, Clyde Harsh of Aurora, WV. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and for the safety of all concerned, a private family service will be held. Cremation services will be provided by Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to your church, fire department or the ambulance service. The family welcomes condolences being left on the funeral home website.
