Alston Lowell Cave.
83, of Bruceton Mills, WV, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, at his home.
The son of the late Leo Cave and Alice Martha Foy Cave, he was born April 22, 1937, in Bemis, Randolph County, WV.
Al was retired from the State of Maryland Motor Fuel Testing Lab.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte S. Groves Cave; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Jean Groves of Bruceton Mills.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters: Kathleen Blanch Shreve, Madaline Davis, Leona Lucille Smith, Betty Lu Cave, Laura Lee Cave and Russey Louise Stevans; and three brothers: Ronald Earl Cave, Roy Ester Cave and William Robert Cave.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, on Monday, February 22, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service with Pastor Barry M. Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and for the safety of everyone attending the gathering at the funeral home, visitors must wear a mask, practice social distancing, and avoid lingering after paying their respects to Al and his family.
