Evelyn Loraine Kidwell, 84, of Morgantown, WV, formerly of Albright (Hudson community), WV, died Monday, October 25, 2021, at Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown. The daughter of the late Fred Lee and Lillian Susan Kesner Dovell, she was born June 19, 1937, in Fredericksburg, VA. She is survived by two grandsons: Daniel Kidwell and his wife, Christal, of Morgantown and Samuel Kidwell of Kingwood, WV; a daughter-in-law, Jeanett Kidwell Garrison, of Fairview, WV; a sister, Reda Black of Moorefield, WV; two sisters-in-law, Cora Liston and Thelma Reckart and her husband, Wayne; three brothers-in-law and their wives: Hugh and Jo Kidwell, Paul and Donna Kidwell and Eddie and Linda Kidwell; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett L. Kidwell, a son, Everett H. (Butch) Kidwell; and a brother, Ralph Dovell. Family and friends may call at the Cress Cemetery, Hudson, WV, Friday, October 29, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. for a graveside service and burial with Pastor Greg Moran officiating. Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, will be assisting the family with funeral service. Condolences: spearfuneralhome.net
