Obituary of Elsie Mae Everly

Elsie Mae Everly, 94, of Bruceton Mills (Mt. Grove community), WV, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022, at her daughter’s home. The daughter of the late Hosea B. Liston and Hazel Forman Liston, she was born April 11, 1928, in Mt. Grove. Elsie was a member of the Church of the Brethren, a homemaker and she had worked for the Preston County Senior Citizens with Elderly Assistance and in home care. She is survived by a daughter, whom she resided with, Nancy (Terry) Feather, and four sons: Lloyd Nelson, Robert Jeremiah, Larry (Dena) and Garry (Wendy) Everly, all of Bruceton Mills; six grandchildren: Tammy (Duane) Bishoff, Christy (Chris) Goldizen, Tracy Feather, Mandi (Vito) Gialone, Jillian (KC) Biermann, and Alyssa (John) Briggs; seven great-grandchildren: Brynna Bishoff, Andrea and Hunter Goldizon, Leighton and Liam Biermann, Alaina Gialone, and Everlee Briggs; and a brother, Bert and his wife, Naomi Liston and a brother, Hosea Liston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremiah Everly in 1980, two sisters, Mary Mickey and Lida Carroll, three brothers: Ora, Errol and Charles Liston; great grandsons, Brayden and Bryce Bishoff. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service with Pastor Craig Bolyard officiating.
