Just a quick note from a former WVU student who worked for Mr. Moyers (and his manager, Bert Spencer) in the WVU housing maintenance department from 1975 until 1980 to help pay my way through college. He was always the gentleman - kept our crew from totally going off the rails, and did so with that twinkle in his eye. I share your loss at his passing and celebrate his long life he shared with you. What a wonderful long life you lived, Uncle Benton!! We hope the next life gives you lots of hugs and kisses with friends and family welcoming you with open arms. I’ll bet you and your sister Juanita start a little piano and harmonica group to keep everyone smiling and tapping their toes. All of your friends and loved ones will remember you often and smile. I could hardly count the things you fixed for us over the years! Mommy would always tell Judy and me to save the item for visiting Uncle Benton, and you always delivered1. Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Hubert? A: Hurbert Moyers, They often say it is not the date of birth or the date of death that matters, but all the days that the DASH represents between the two dates. Hubert's days were filled by caring and serving his family, his friends, his church (God) and his country, which he did with such a loving smile and a caring heart. Hubert "Thanks" for being our friend, Senator Dave & Delegate Terri Sypolt Our special memory...Hubert wishing us a Happy Birthday on Facebook like no other, playing the harmonica...we loved it and will never forget it or him!!!
