Connie D. (Wilhelm) Blaney, 73, of Albright (Lenox Community), WV, passed away January 7, 2023, with her loving family by her side. The daughter of the late Earl and Opal (Summers) Wilhelm, she was born August 18, 1949, in Albright. Connie enjoyed working in her garden and going shopping. She is survived by a son and his wife, Chad and Tonya Blaney, of Albright; a daughter and her husband, Sheena and Joey Wilson, of Kingwood, WV; two granddaughters, Britni Blaney and fiancé, Jason Simpson, and Lexi Wilson. Also surviving are three siblings: Edgar Wilhelm and wife, Carrie, of Albright, Crystal Reckart of Albright, and Jeff Wilhelm of Connellsville PA; brother-in-law, Jack Fitchett, of Kingwood; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Blaney; a sister, Marie (Gabby) Fitchett; and a brother-in-law, Melvin C. Reckart. Family and friends will be received at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service with Pastor Ronnie Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Moriah Cemetery in Albright (Valley Point), WV. Condolences: spearfuneralhome.net
