Renee (Candy) Richards, 63, of Bruceton Mills, WV, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. The daughter of the late James and Virginia Wickwire Wiles, she was born May 31, 1959, in Albright. She loved all things West Virginia, her family, friends and cancer community. She was a big Mountaineer fan, she told everyone she bled blue and gold. She is survived by three sons: Lee Richards, and his fiancée, Crissy, Marty Richards and Casey Richards and his fiancée, Esther; four brothers, Terry, Steve, Rick and Jeff Wiles; grandchildren: Leanne, McKayla, Shawn, Dominic, Christian, Zoey, Caleb, Alex, Mick, Kaitlyn, Kota, Jonah, Eli; great-grandchildren: Brantley, Easton, Isabella and Mya; and she loved her Diva, aka Fred with all her heart (her dog). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy Richards, Sr. and a sister, Patricia Richards. The family will have a memorial service for Candy at the Albright United Methodist Church in Albright, Friday at 2:00 p.m., January 13, 2023.
