Obituary of James Allen Goss

James Allen Goss, 61, of Morgantown, WV, passed away July 12, 2023 at his home. The son of the late Leidy B. Goss and Mildred I. Goss, he was born on May 11, 1962, in Elkins, WV. If there was one word that would describe James’ life on this Earth, it would be “Giver.” He was always trying to help others in need by taking time to listen and talk to them. He would encourage others to never stop taking time out of your day to help others in need. His words of advice would be, “Don’t look at their outward appearance, but look at their inward appearance.” James was also a good uncle to his nephews Donald and Darren Myers. He was always trying to preach to people about God and his son Jesus Christ. He had boldness in his own special way of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There are people out there that have physical needs, mental needs, and most of all spiritual needs. James had all these things on this Earth. James would tell you right now to please take time out and help these types of people because tomorrow may be too late. He would want people to spread the good news about Jesus Christ. God has a special place in heaven for people like James A. Goss. If you want to see him again, believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ and you will be saved. And as James would say, “Amen.” He is survived by a son and his wife, Joseph Allen and Brittany Goss, and granddaughter, Nevaeh L. Goss, of Morgantown, WV; three siblings: Ruth M. Myers, of Masontown, WV; Steven W. Goss, of Florida; and Daniel A. Goss, of Bruceton Mills. WV. In addition his parent his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother, David A. Goss. Carl R.
