Obituary of Robert Ray Hileman

Robert Ray Hileman, 84, of Village at Heritage Point, Morgantown, WV, died Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at the home of his daughter, Deb. The son of the late Troy B. and Martha Jane Benson Hileman, he was born October 10, 1932, in Bruceton Mills, WV. Bob grew up on his family's farm and always looked forward to hunting together and summer reunions. He graduated from Bruceton Mills High School and was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a farm supervisor for Sterling Farms in Arthurdale, WV, a ranch manager for Fairfield Farms in Virginia, and finally a partner in a dairy farm in Hazelton, WV. He is survived by two daughter and husbands, Terri and Randy Wotring of Bruceton Mills, Debbie and Greg Shriver of Wadesville, WV; two sisters, Mary Jean Radabaugh and Linda Staddon and her husband, Glenn, of Morgantown; three brothers: Willis G. Hileman, Milton "Buckwheat" Hileman and his wife, Carol of Bruceton Mills, and James Hileman and his wife, Mary Lynn of Middlebourne, WV; six grandchildren: Ryan, Erin, Tyler and Ashley Wotring, Patrick and Tara Wright and Chris and Tracy Shriver; and four great-grandchildren: Micah Shriver, Jackson, Rance and Harper Wotring. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peg Hileman and a brother, Leland and a sister, Peggy. Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Thursday from 3-8 p.m., and Friday, November 18, 2016, from 10 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral home with Pastor Steve Wotring officiating. Burial will follow in the Beverly Hill Memorial Gardens, Morgantown. The family would like to extend a special 'Thank You" to staff of Heritage Point for the care provided to Bob.
