Lila Jean Reckart, 81, of Albright (Valley Point Community), WV, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV, with family by her side. The daughter of the late Hugh and Bertha Wilhelm Kelly, she was born June 21, 1943, in Lenox, WV. Lila attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is survived by three sons: David Reckart, Steven (wife, Janie) Reckart, and Norman Reckart (companion, Amber Cline); and a brother, Robert Wilhelm, Jr. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Kelly (companion, Chris Felton), Matthew (wife, Lyndsey), Monica (companion, Jon Hess), Garett (companion, Ashley McKeown), Carson, and Carter; and three great-grandchildren, Kendra Rankin, and Hunter and Jadelyn Reckart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Eugene Reckart, and sisters, Patty Lea Summers and Dorothy Kay Summers. Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 12:00 until the 3:00 p.m. funeral service with Randy Summers officiating.
