Obituary of Wilmer Joseph Sypolt

Wilmer Joseph "Bill" Sypolt, 88, of Bruceton Mills, WV, died Monday, January 30, 2017, at Worthington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Parkersburg, WV The son of the late Gratto and Ida E. Reckart Sypolt, he was born January 1, 1929, in Albright, WV. Bill was a retired carpenter. He enjoyed woodworking, repairing his lawn mowers and going to car shows in his 1957 Chevrolet. He is survived by his wife, Lorena Graham Sypolt; two daughters and their spouses, Cathy and Dennis Reckart of Bruceton Mills and Becky and Ronnie Robinson of Kingwood, WV; two sons, Gregg Sypolt of Bruceton Mills and David Sypolt and his wife, Kathy, of Albright; two brothers and their spouses, Marvin (Bud) and Virginia Sypolt of Albright and Melvin and Peggy Sypolt of Bruceton Mills; four sisters: Maxine Livengood and companion, John, of Morgantown, WV, Mary Alice Benson of Bruceton Mills, Anna Belle Lawson and spouse, Bob, of Bruceton Mills, and Sharon Stiles and spouse, Dewey, of Morgantown; and three grandchildren: Lisa Vincent and her husband, John, Jacob Sypolt and Vanessa Sypolt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Forman and Patty Feathers. Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Tuesday, from 4 until 8 p.m. and Wednesday, February 1, 2017, from 11 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Harris officiating.
