Obituary of Paul Edwin Summers

Paul Edwin Summers,

     73, of Albright, Lenox Community, WV, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Oakland Nursing and Rehab Center, Oakland, MD.
     The son of the late Ben Paul and Shirley "Ida" Wilhelm Summers, he was born July 15, 1944, in Lenox, WV.
     Paul attended the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.  Formerly working at Rockville Mining as a mechanic and heavy equipment operator, he later retired from S & S Repair.  He enjoyed the outdoors, farming, running the saw mill, and riding motorcycles, four wheelers and snow mobiles. The most important part of his life was God, his family, and his best friend, Missy, his dog.
     He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. "Patty" Kelly Summers; a daughter and her husband, Tina D. and John T. Cool, Jr.; two brothers and their wives, Robert and Sharon Summers and Jack and Terry Summers; three sisters: Joyce Nine and husband, Robert, Pamela Casteel and husband, Eddie, and Vicki Summers; a sister-in-law, Kay Summers; and two grandsons, Ryan and Kyle Cool.
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Danny Ray Summers; a brother, Bradley Summers; and a sister-in-law, Janet Summers.
     Friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, on Sunday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and on Monday, November 27, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral home, with Pastor Kevin Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lenox Memorial (Lutheran) Cemetery, Albright (Lenox), WV.
